Rocky Neck is Going to Town: Great Art in Small Packages

The Rocky Neck Art Colony Winter Show will be open Friday Nov. 26 through Thursday Dec. 23 at 130 Main Street. The opening reception is scheduled for Saturday, December 4, from 5 to 8 pm.

Application Deadline Extended to November 15, 2010

The fourth Annual Artists Under the Dome Event 2010 will be held THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 18, 2010 from 10am to 3:30pm Massachusetts State House’s Nurses Hall (The Big Hall at the Boston State House.)

It is a Free Annual Event for Massachusetts Artists Working in all Disciplines.

For the fourth time, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is inviting Massachusetts artists working in all disciplines (visual arts, literary, performing, crafts, new media, etc.) to the State House on Thursday, November 18th to thank them for all they contribute to our state’s economy and quality of life. Massachusetts is the only state in the country to have such an event!

The 2010 event is brought to you by the Joint Committee on Tourism, Arts and Cultural Development, the Joint Committee on Economic Development and Emerging Technologies, Treasurer Tim Cahill, the Executive Office of Housing and Economic Development, the Joint Committee of Community Development and Small Business, the Massachusetts Cultural Council, the Cultural Caucus, and the Massachusetts Artists Leaders Coalition ( MALC).

      1. Are you saying that like, “his face was made for radio” that Damon’s profile was made for the fog?

        Splash him as you go by this morning Damon. And speaking of rowing in the morning, the Red Skiff Special in Rockport is corned beef hash eggs Benedict which is about the best I have ever had. The English muffin obviously spent some time on the grill so it had a nice crispy layer on top to stand up to all the gooey Benedict juices while the rest of the muffin remained soft enough to cut with a fork.

        I might have to do that again tomorrow morning.
