While the rest of the country will say that the Patriots got lucky I say that they outright won the game deservedly.
People will talk about Lee Evans dropping the ball but they give no credit to the defensive player Sterling Moore who had a hand in and knocked the ball out of his hands making it not a touchdown. It was a great defensive play and football is played on both sides of the ball offense AND defense.
If you’re gonna bash the Pats Defense all year long well you ought to give credit where credit is due. Great play Sterling Moore! you made the play and the Ravens’ Lee Evans didn’t.
Then on to the missed field goal by the Ravens Billy Cundiff. That missed field goal wasn’t to win the game, that was to tie the game and who was to say the Pats wouldn’t have scored first in overtime?
How about the Pats Defense who only allowed Ray Rice the NFL’s third leading yardage runningback with only 78 yards?
The Pats earned that victory.
Now all that being said I hope the entire country and news media harps on and on for the next two weeks about how the Patriots don’t deserve to be in the Superbowl so that Belichick can use that to light the most burning intense fire in their bellies that they’ve had all year.
It was a terrific game.. it was a game of two hard hitting post season teams are supposed to do… I loved it… even though most of the time I cover my eyes and hear the crowd…. love it and off to the Super Bowl

I agree with you, all the way, Joey. The entire game was about defense. The Ravens may have the leagues second ranked D but in this game and in the Denver game, the Patriots had the best, by far. Let the unbelivers downplay the Patriots; that all plays right into Belachick’s design for winning the Super Bowl. Yesterday was special. We may be 1800 miles from Foxboro but watching the game with six other New Englanders was special tool

Moore blocked twice during that same drive. I was like Donna, hiding behind my hands, peeking thru my fingers. I was so happy, I’m 3,000 miles from home, so that game pumped me up a wicked ton.
