$4.25 Lg Meatball Sub At Supreme Roast Beef

The large meatball sub at Supreme had a nice toasted sub roll.  Not a ton of meat but it was tasty and not all that expensive.  Other places that serve $6.00 lg meatball subs are not overcharging in comparison because you probably get double the meat at the other places but if you are not looking for a huge sub this sub tasted great and is a good option.

  1. Hey Joey –
Have you had breakfast at Supreme’s yet? What’s it looking like? I am still in search of the ultimate breakfast sandwich on CapeAnn. For the Zeke’s lovers, I have to say I’m not a fan. Lee’s is close, but the service lacks. Ditto the Bagel Place. Will Supreme’s be my blessing in disguise?

    1. I haven’t had a breakfast sandwich at Supreme’s. My favorite breakfast sandwich is at Stone Soup in Ipswich. It’s called the Merry Breakfast Monster- click here for pic- https://goodmorninggloucester.wordpress.com/2008/05/23/stone-soup-breakfast-monster/
Although Zeke’s is across from my dock, I haven’t been back since the first week they opened and charged me $1.50 for a to-go container on my very first visit. Cape Ann Coffee has outstanding sausage egg croissant sandwiches. I’d suggest you try a mudiga steak sandwich at The Fort Square Cafe, breakfast at Sailor Stans in East Gloucester, Sugar Mags crab cake Bene, Two Sisters for a healthy dose of humor with your breakfast, George’s Coffee shop. Hell there really are a on of great places but you didn’t list any of my regular haunts.

If you want a real Gloucester Italian traditional treat I’d start out with the mudiga steak sandwich at Fort Square cafe but you an’t go wrong at any of the plaes listed and I’m sure I forgot to mention a few others.
