Can’t help but shoot whenever I am at Niles Pond. Such a pretty spot.

I haven’t seen anyone ice boating – just a lot of skaters and gulls on the ice.

Thanks Felicia. I don’t know what that bright yellow foliage was, but it did make a beautiful addition to the scene.

Gorgeous photos. Are those birds on the pond?

Yes, it was a flock of seagulls sitting on the ice. Not sure why they do it because it has to be cold on their feet and there must be warmer places for them to hang out, but they always congregate there. Guess they just think it is a pretty place to be too.

WoW excellent shots Post Cards …A person could just stay here all day for sure thank you we truly do have a lot to be grateful for each day! “Native American Prayer: “Oh, Great Spirit, Whose voice I hear in the winds, And whose breath gives life to all the world, Let me walk in beauty and let me learn the lessons you have hidden in every leaf and rock. So when life fades, as the fading sunset, my Spirit may come to you without shame.”

I lived in the mother Ann cottage last year for 7 months. I never tired of walking or driving past Niles Pond. I took many pictures of it and sent them to folks, who have never been to Gloucester.

Yes, didn’t I meet you one day when I walked out there last February to shoot the waves crashing over the rocks? I recall you weren’t totally in love with the harshness of winter at the end of Eastern Point.

All the shots are awesome but that yellow plant on the left one is amazeballs.
Pity the poor fool who come to Gloucester only when it is hot. -Mr T
