Yes it kinda is !….. My Aunt Catherine always called them italian chocolate almond wafer cookies…this recipe is more cookie like compared to my recipe for real Italian Torrone Candy! … Both use rice paper….It’s avaible on line…. I haven’t decided which recipe will be included in my first cookbook ….I’m in the process of laying the book out now…. Maybe folks can post a comment stating which recipe they would like to see in book one?

I vote for the chocolate almond torrone and Sistah Felicia almost slapped me when I tried to peal the rice paper off but you eat it! I had some will power and did not eat them all. Addictive.
