Walking on Shore Road on Saturday, it was amazing seeing this beautiful soaring butterflies all over the bushes.

There were a TON on Sunday morning, that plant was just covered with them (and the air was full of them, too). I don’t know what the plant/vine/hedge is that they were on, but it’s clearly like crack to them! Amazing.

I’ll bet that Kim Smith will tell us what the plant is, and maybe something about butterfly migration, if we’re lucky. Nice photos Donna!

Nice, Donna. My kids have been noticing a ton of these black and orange butterflies recently. We’ve been calling them monarch butterflies though our Kim Smith will probably correct me with their real name.
