I am especially thankful that we did not have half a foot of snow, as they did in Pennsylvania–with a shift in the wind, we could so easily be shoveling!
Thank Goodness for the Rain!

We really needed it. Without leaves on trees and sunny windy days without rain the woods were about and toasty as I have ever seen them. But we got 0.7 inches Sunday and a full 2.0 inches today. Hopefully some of it soaked in but we need more. I bet if you dig down four inches the dirt will be dust. WE might get another small dose on Thursday.

Thank you Vicki and John–wasn’t the rain, and after the rain gorgeous yesterday. Did anyone else see the rainbow last night, around 7:30?
