Good eyes to pick that out. Some weirdo or “uninformed” would be correct. Actually the spirit would have likely degraded in the bottle. There is no reason for any reaction to occur in glass. All the aging is result of time in the barrel. It is the glass and genuine tax stamp that would carry value. C.C. was the gift of chioce along the waterfront around Christmas. We would buy many cases from “Mooter” Albert and deliver bottles to the boats and dealers. They would do the same. It usually ended up in an even swap. Fiesta would deplete the inventory.
