When I was a kid it seemed like everybody had a St. Jeseph Alter at their house and the Novena was said for 9 days and a Preist would come to the house and say a full Mass. Then on ST. Josephs day we had ST Joseph pasta (I called it “pasta with the wallpaper paste”)I’m not sure how it was made .I think chicpeas or something .I just ate the blessed bread and oranges. I’m not sure why they had bread and oranges .Everytime I see ST JOSEPH this is what it reminds of. Sorry for babbling on……………..FRANK

That’s exactly what I thought. I was never a fan of the St Joseph’s Pasta, it was always pastey tasting. I’d eat lots of the bread.
