Thanks Craig and Lora. When you merge a bunch of the quintessential New England charm of Annisquam, by its nature it creates a classic look, and I thought it had a primitive look to it as well. Glad you like it. There is no place quite as lovely as Annisquam, especially after a blizzard.

This is one I would love to frame! It is evocative of the American Primitive art of Grandma and Will Moses. And it perfectly captures the blinding brightness of winter sun reflecting off the blue-white snow of a midwinter’s day in New England. Charming!

This one took about 12 hours, not including shooting time, to edit each of the photos and lay them out. They are a little time consuming to create, but I enjoy the process and love the final product.

Truly a work of art. I love the tire swing hanging in mid-air!

That tire hangs from a tree in a yard on Leonard Street, appearing like from mid air, and always looked so cool when I’ve seen it in the past against snow, so I captured it this time. People who live in Annisquam would know it, but I’m glad you appreciated it (I’m assuming you don’t live in Annisquam and know the tire swing). I included objects that are uniquely Annisquam, but that anyone could appreciate, even if they’ve never stepped foot here.

Totally awesome!! It was worth your time and effort. The white houses are just beautifully layed out. Winter in Annisquam does have its charm. It should be a poster.

Now that I’ve created the montages, I’m thinking I might actually do large scale paintings from them, when I get back to painting again.
