Gloucester At Dawn- Gloucester Station 4:48AM 6/27/12

Love shooting early morning just after a rain storm.  The textures and reflections make for much more interesting photos.  The green on the sign vs the yellow and the purple. Lots of repetition and symmetry.  Sometimes the scenes you pass by a million times end up being the most interesting when you simply slow down and immerse yourself in it.

  1. The colors in that photo are amazing. Great eye. I love that St. Ann’s Church steeple is in the background.

  2. You’re traveling through another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind; a journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination. Your next stop…the Twilight Zone.

  3. Joey, this is a fine shot, one to be proud of — I really like how you picked up the color accents on the railing, and in the pavement — also the starbursts around the lights in the upper left. I’m glad there is something besides virtue to be said for being up that early.
