My name is Chloe, I am a sweet and mild mannered six-year-old cat.  I am at the Cape Ann Animal Aid, located at the Christopher Cutler Rich Animal Shelter here in Gloucester.   If you are looking for a gentle and gentle soul of a cat, please visit me.   

I have been asked to tell you about the 3rd Annual Golf Tournament to take place on Monday, September 23rd at Bass Rocks Golf Club in Gloucester, MA. The tournament features a day of golf followed by a celebration dinner with awards, prizes, and live auction. Players will receive a take-home gift and compete for top prizes and a special hole-in-one contest for a new car. Cape Ann Animal Aid’s Annual “Dog Day” is September 15th from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Stage Fort Park.  There is a $10 participation fee per dog to participate in the Doggy Games Quest and gain access to the agility court. All other events are free.  Bring your dogs, friends and family!  The first fifty registered participants will receive a free “Dog Day” t-shirt!

Please stop by the CAAA and consider adopting me.    I would love to be in a home this autumn so that I may celebrate Halloween and other holidays with my new family!  I can’t believe my photo is on Good Morning Gloucester!!

Pet of the Week- Nala

Nala

My name is Nala, a three-month-old female Great Pyrenees/Retriever mix.  I am at the Cape Ann Animal Aid (CAAA), located at the Christopher Cuter Rich Animal Shelter, Four Paws Lane, Gloucester.  My brother and I are both here and eager to find forever homes.  We will be large dogs and already have our fluffy cream-and-white coats.  I keep telling my brother that our dream of having a wonderful home, like our CAAA family will come true; he just needs to believe!

My name is Radio and I am a charming and handsome male cat looking for a loving home.  I am affectionate, playful and a great listener.   I am residing at the Cape Ann Aid located at the Christopher Cutler Rich Animal Shelter in Gloucester.  Check our website for upcoming events at: CapeAnnAnimalAid.com

We are continuing to accept returnable bottles and cans for our Transportation Fund.  Drop off on Sundays from 1-3 p.m.

Hello:  My name is Mister Major, I am a male, three-month-old active kitten who is orange-and-white.  I am at the Cape Ann Animal Aid located at the Christopher Cutler Rich Animal Shelter in Gloucester.

I have been asked to remind you about “Dog Day “on Sept. 15,  the Golf Tournament on September 23 and the Sunset Cruise on Sat., August 17 from 7 – 8:30 p.m. aboard Capt. Bill’s from Harbor Loop with complimentary refreshments.  Tickets are available at the CAAA, Animal Krackers, Cape Ann Vet Hospital, Nothshore Vet Hospital and  Essex Bird Shop & Pet Supply. Join dog lovers of all ages at Cape Ann Animal Aid’s Dog Day on September 9th, 2012 at Stage Fort Park in Gloucester, MA from 11am to  3pm. (Rain Date 9/16).

This popular celebration of all things canine features a expo with vendors and community groups, doggy games and contests,  demonstrations, activities for kids, bouncy house, raffles and prizes,  food and drinks, ask a vet, low cost micro-chipping clinic, doggy nail
trimming, agility course, K9 Police Demonstration, other critters and  more!
