Wednesday morning East Gloucester was especially beautiful although, is anywhere not magically beautiful after a new fallen snow? While photographing around the neighborhood, I nearly ran into Frieda on her way into her shop, Again and Again (with lots of terrific gift items for last minute shoppers). After photographing down by the North Shore Art Association I stopped in to say hello to Frieda and Beth at Again and Again (see yesterday’s post).
Leaving the shop, and while admiring Duckworth’s wreath and lovely holiday decor, I met Ken Duckworth outside his bistro. We had a friendly chat and I was reminded of what a fabulous neighborhood is ours. At that moment I was thinking not of the beauty that surrounds, but of our wonderful neighbors.

Duckworth’s in the Snow
Dinner at Duckworth’s Bistrot anytime of the year, but most especially during the holidays, is always a very special treat. Plan to go soon for your Duckworth’s fix because I believe they close for several weeks during. January.

This is the first little batch of photos after Tuesday’s snowfall. I don’t like to post too many full-size photos in the same post because it bumps my fellow contributors too far down the page. I’ll post more from Wednesday morning’s after snowfall tomorrow.
A dream comes true, this year I got lucky with 3 seamstresses who worked with me at Again and Again.
Beth Chianciola , Pam Lally and Regina Loicano made a beautiful wedding dress all put of recycled spinnaker, also the flower girl dress and the flowers .
You can see it on Sunday at the SeArts Fashion Show at Cruise Port.
Check Again and Again out on Facebook-
7-9PM at Art Haven (across from the Police Station)
The Mrs Will be a judge and I’ll be on hand as well.

Melinda left Gloucester yesterday to drive back cross country to Seattle making stops along the way with her Irish companion whose name escapes me (I get a pass on forgetting her name as she called me Bob a couple times).
Here she poses with a couple of her pieces made from actual sails. When speaking with Melinda she told me how helpful and supportive Freida Grotjahn from Again and Again had been during her stay as well as Bob Ritchie from Dogtown Book Store.
Here’s one of the recylcled sailcloth handbags made by Freida Grotjahn at Again and Again- 195 East Main Street In Beautiful East Gloucester next to Duckworth’s Bistrot. Patti Page stopped by telling us that the handbag auction was a huge success and added some much needed financial help to the Gloucester Sailing program.
