Beautiful and thanks for the memories really cold and right conditions to cause the icebergs to form skipping through as rascals we loved to try and make way across not always the dry adventure and only small areas where you could turn back. Mom knew we did this well we won’t go there! Usually adults convinced us not a good idea too! Slip and the water and you knew they were 100% correct! 🙂 Dave

Things don’t freeze up like they used to when we were kids…I remember pond skating all winter but now its just too dangerous!

Way to dangerous!! We were on days pond all the time and the fields that ran next to it were where we played football and base ball when we didn’t go to plum cove field. We did lose some pucks in the reeds and cat nines along edge when you started if you hear the ice buckle move back away. Fish visible frozen in the ice is never a good sign!
