East Gloucester Elementary School students paint a garden bench that will be auctioned off at the 10th Birthday Gala for the Gloucester Education Foundation.
The Gloucester Education Foundation’s 10th Birthday Gala will be held on Friday, November 4th at the Beauport Hotel.
The evening is a fundraising event to celebrate and support GEF, and the organization’s work in the Gloucester Public Schools. In addition to the silent and live auctions, which will include the garden benches painted by students at each of the Gloucester schools, the night will feature a raffle with prizes from area businesses like Styles on Main, Pop Gallery and Treetop Yoga.
Plus hos d’oeuvres, dessert, cash bar, live music, dancing, birthday games and more!

SeniorCare Inc. will hold its annual autumn fundraising breakfast at Lobsta Land Restaurant, located on Causeway Street in Gloucester (Route 128, exit 12) on Tuesday, October 25, 2016, from 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Tickets are $12 per person and include your choice of pancakes, French toast, eggs, or a fruit plate with yogurt. Tickets are available in advance online at www.seniorcareinc.org, by calling 978-281-1750, or may be purchased at the door. Proceeds from the breakfast will benefit the full spectrum of programs offered by SeniorCare.
