I look forward to posts than other than those about my health. However, I think I’ve opened up an area that many folks are have interest in. I’ll always cherish the hospital and nursing home/rehab/VNA friends who saved my life.

At my first approach as I entered their care
I was greeted with warm embraces
The concern for healing you were soon aware
As you can see by the look on all their faces
The physical therapy staff one of the very best
With speech and swallowing reaching beyond measure
Meeting each resident with their stories to tell
A wisdom from each to me a lasting treasure
The smell of the cooking as each meal is prepared
Each table set in perfect family style
Floors that shined like a mirrored reflection
This is what the word Kindred means from its perfection
By the rehabilitation they have passed on to me
It will not be long before I am home at last
Thank you to all the staff from my heart and soul
For all your professional care and dedication
