The “lighthouse” at the end of the harbor breakwater on Bearskin Neck in Rockport has precariously tumbled away from its perch. Even though I live right down the street and go by this often by boat, I’m not sure exactly when this happened. Anyone?

It happened this winter during one or another of the storms. From January 4, 2014 Gloucester Times: “On Bearskin Neck, the storm surge collapsed the tip of the breakwater, while the iconic spindle and beacon at the tip of the jetty Neck crashed into the sea,
