Second week Of June Mark Your Calendars- I was looking Through My Flickr Photos Of Gloucester At Dawn Photos And Wouldn’t you Know…
Look at these sunrises from the past few years on the same exact week of the year- Second Week Of June. If you’re a photographer and planning on taking a trip out here to photograph sunrises, might I suggest the second week of June? If this hack of a photographer can capture these images, you ought to be able to as well

You’re welcome to whomever may have seen me clothesline myself on my new bike rack a few moments ago. Awesome.
In happier news “the” sticker has finally been stuck….8 days to go! Bring on Nantucket!!
Thank you to Dawn and Michelle for inviting me to stay and have a bite of Esme’s wonderful luau birthday feast. John and Dawn prepared the most yummy pulled pork, served on Mandy’s homemade potato rolls, and guests contributed super delicious accompaniments, including the best bean salad, homemade, crunchy coleslaw, and Nicole Duckworth’s to-die-for death-by-chocolate cake.
Friendships, Family, Food, and Pure Fun~ what a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon!

Don’t miss the premiere of this very special Local Music Seen with Allen Estes tomorrow night at 6:30 on Cape Ann TV Channel 12. This special was shot on location at Alchemy Bistro (at the same time as Nat Geo was shooting) and Mile Marker One. Allen gets some of the Wicked Tuna captains to tell him what music they play aboard ship for good luck catching fish. Then he performs his Howard Blackburn hit “Not With Ya Hands” for them. Mix in a Wicked Tuna Seafood Throwdown and a few other surprises for a show you don’t want to miss. Here’s a short preview of the energy you can expect from this show!
IPAC Inox-Stainless Steel Fresh Herb Mill
It’s time to start jazzing up your marinades, salads, and side dishes with the fabulous flavors of fresh herbs, and produce from local farms! Put the winter recipes away…”Summer Cooking” has officially begun! Think Fresh, Fabulous and Flavorful when preparing meals…This week many CSA Farm Programs kick off their 2014 along with dozens of weekly community Farmers markets throughout the North Shore area. Because I’m so excited to finally have an abundance of fresh locally grown produce, and herbs at my finger tips for the next several months, I thought I’d feature my IPAC Inox-Stainless Steel Fresh Herb Mill. This handheld mill is by far the most used kitchen gadget, in my kitchen during the summer months. It’s easy to use, and cuts through herbs with minimal bruising, making pretty flake like cuts that are the perfect size to use to dress up a platted meal with a fresh professional look.
*Friendly Reminder~ “The Cape Ann Farmers Market” held at Stage Forth Park, begins Thursday June 12 at 3 pm.
Prognosis, not good. This big ass moth had his belly half smooshed on the sidewalk just outside of Last Stop Variety.
Moth ID from all you butterfly/moth freaks out there please?
(the only reason I’m saying this is a moth is because the owner corrected me inside Last Stop) I woulda said Butterfly all day every day.

High school graduations have once again made spring an optimistic time across Cape Ann and around the North Shore.
In nearly every community, we are treated to a sea of cap-and-gown clad seniors, valedictory speeches that are at once soaring, hopeful and humorous, and smiles of unfiltered joy from young men and women who walk across the stage to accept their diplomas.
Leave it to the adults to stomp out the fun.

I was gonna write a rant about the ridiculousness of it all but I was just too disgusted.
Politically Correct crap times a bajillion- the ruination of our great country.
