In our never ending quest to better the blog I upgraded the layout making it easier to read and allowing larger photos/videos and fonts. Hopefully you all enjoy the new look.

I like the new design. Even the name of the theme, Dynamic News, show posts in an organized and readable layout. Larger photos and type are a big plus, especially for an old guy like me.

I like the new look! Also like getting the emails in the p.m. again. Really threw me off routine getting it in the a.m. Even though I check throughout the day for updates, I am pretty hooked on the evening delivery!

Looks great, but the page is automatically scrolling up and down somewhat randomly. Is there any way to control that feature?

Hi Joey. I made the original post (above) about the scrolling. I am using the latest version of Safari on a Mac, Version 7.0.4 (9537.76.4). It’s not a major issue, the page just scrolls a bit up and down. It seems to be trying to ‘center’ pictures on the screen. Otherwise I love the new format.

I like the new set-up. With larger images, we photographers will have to be very careful when focusing. Any movement or focus blur will be very obvious. Discipline is good for the soul.
As noted above, the posts bounce up and down as the feature slider positions itself. Can that be corrected?

Maybe a browser update? Wondering if that is a Mac thing. For anyone having the scrolling issue, can you let me know what type of computer you’re using and which browser?

Not seeing bouncing in Firefox. But unless I’m overlooking something I’m not longer seeing the links to the prior and next posts that used to appear at the end of the entry.

The sizing of the entries in the preview slider is not uniform. When a larger preview pane displays, the rest of the page jumps down to accommodate it. If the next pane is smaller the page pulls back up.

The images seem to be uniform; it is the size of the entry below the image that is creating the adjustment and jumping.

Well I have to modify the earlier post – I am seeing the odd scrolling action on the GMG homepage in Firefox on a PC.
