Genes gone wild! Over my years fishing I have seen many species that this has happened to. When you produce thousands to tens of thousands of eggs the odds of a non symmetric animal to survive are high; Let alone for a normal animal’s long hard struggle. I have also seen the damage done from the years of coastal pollution that killed off many eggs and early stage development of sealife. It’s taken a long time to correct but the damage has been done and we have to adapt to it till the ocean heals itself;but I see a future and light at of this tunnel.
