Thanks for the great picture, Donna. I’m told that the house on the point was built in the late 1800’s by distiller Hiram Walker. It burned flat and was rebuilt in 1903 using almost no wood, (all the interior moldings are plaster, for instance.) I went inside back about 15 years ago when it was being returned to a single family home after having been apartments for many years, because there was a pipe organ in the front hall in need of much restoration. We didn’t get the job.
