Hey Craig, can you help a novice with a bit of info. We will be in Glosta for a bit in September and would like to experience a Red Sox game. I found tickets online for either the grandstand way out past first base or the bleachers opposite home plate. Any thoughts on these locations? Also, if we take the train from Glosta, where do we get off and what Iconnecting transportation do we take to Fenway Park? Thanks for any tips!

Saint707, thanks! Getting to the game: you take the (Purple Line) our Glostah commuter rail to North Station, then you get on the Green Line toward C Cleveland Circle, get off at Hynes Convention Center Station, walk south and bang a R on Boylston St., then hook a right on Ipswitch St. On Ipswitch you can grab a Rickshaw for about $10 bucks and they will casually cruise you to Fenway, or you can just walk Ipswich St. right to the park. Some folks take the Green line one more stop to the Kenmore Station, but that place is nuts on game day, and even the foot traffic is nuts. I believe the Green line back to North Station ends by midnight, so if it’s a late game, and it goes to extra frames, you may want to take off early! You can go to google maps, punch it in, and click the Transit Train logo, and it will show you the way. It’s about 1 1/2 hours, so not bad!!! PLAY BALL!!

You probably already know this, but just in case…
If you go to http://www.redsox.com there’s a link to a 3D seating chart that shows you your view from any seat in the park. That way you can really check out what the seats would be like!
Try this link

Doh, just saw your link! Precise seating shows the exact view from your actual seat, and your field of view. You can plug in your section and seat number. It’s funny when you look at the ones behind the posts.
