Great Catch Donna. Since there are two there, maybe there’s a nest nearby.

Made this mistake many times myself especially when they started showing back up after a long absence. On the wing the resemblance I find even closer, but I do have bad eyesight and we all secretly hope to see them I think. My dad (now 90 yrs old) used to tell of a time when large eagles would come to town to snack on the piglets at Nugent’s.

Hi. Those are not peregrines. They aren’t even falcons. They are buteos: Red shouldered, red tailed and rough-legged hawks fit this category. You will see them migrating north this time of year.

Very nice and they came by to say hello to a friend (You)…Donna think you have nesting spot down also most that I have seen nest on ledges of rock cliffs but like buildings also. 🙂
