It’s a very good history lesson here…very dangerous times in those days to be out on the water run into subs and U-boats… His name A. Piatt Andrew (Andrews Bridge) will always be there on RT-128 bridge we used to go out there to catch Pigeons before they closed allot of it off on foot – if seen they would move you along also! Before this it was the cut bridge up 133 Essex.

She was a beautiful ship ! My grandfather Wallace Bruce was her Captain.

My grandfather also Captained it, along with other schooners according to his obituary.He was Captain John.J Silveira originally of Calheta de Nesquim, Pico Azores.
