Let me guess. Coming down Beach Road either texting or on the phone and forgot to bang a right onto Nautilus Road and instead went straight. “I wanna go left but it’s one way maybe I could just scooch over on this nice little bridge? Honey I think I may be a little late for lunch.”
Could there have been ice left on Beach?

I saw it happen in my rearview mirror as I was about to pull away from the curb. No ice. It looked like she thought the bridge was a road, or something, and decided to turn down it. When I asked if she was okay, she said, “My car won’t start.” I said, “Yes, the handrail seems to be sticking into your engine. Are you okay?” She said, “It won’t start.” I’m just glad no one was hurt.

Let’s hope that the Gloucester Police went after this person and that at the very least that she has to pay for is the repair of the bridge. Yikes, imagine that people were injured because of her actions.
