The taller ships start appearing around 1:50, but I liked seeing all the smaller boats, too. Look for the Stanley Thomas lobster boat closer to the beginning. After the Parade I walked out onto the rocky ledge near the Eastern Point Lighthouse, but as you can see in the second-to-last clip, a thunderstorm was on the way and I had to skedadle.
Beautiful Event to film-to many of us, Gloucester is our “somewhere over the rainbow.”

I am overwhelmed by everyone’s kind comments. I am traveling to visit my daughter and cell service on the train is intermittent at best, otherwise I would thank everyone individually. Thank You-your comments mean much.
Yes Len I am happy to make you, and anyone else who would like one, a copy.
Hi Kim, I am unable to go out and watch such a magnificent display of the sail boats. Thank you so much for capturing what I and other’s who are disabled can not get down to see.
Thank you again
Kathy
Thank you Judy from Pennsylvania – hope to see you here next year- the Schooners, with the Gloucester skyline, is a beauty treat you will never forget!
Kim, Thank you for the beautiful video. My Piscitello Uncles would have been so proud to see their fishing vessel, the beautiful “American Eagle” restored and a winner!! I would love to have a copy.
Hi Virginia, I would be happy to give you a copy and so interesting to know the American Eagle was your uncle’s fishing vessel. I would like to know more about that! I think Anthony Marks mentioned it was his uncle’s as well. I would love to take my son on a sail on it someday!
I was thinking the same thing about the clouds – that would have been amazing if a rainbow appeared- was grateful for the ‘birds fly high’ seagull that flew past my camera’s lens as I was packing up to go!
Love the ducks too ! They were there for support. You have a great feel Kim. Especially the last vantage point from from the paint factory with most ships shown from a different angle. Bravo !
Thank you Jackie for your kind words. The ducks were so ‘co-operative’ and they are Common Eider’s -have noticed so many more eiders this year than in previous years.

When I get back from NYC, I will make copies. YouTube makes a very compressed version; i think the copies will be much better looking.
