While going up the Rio Colorado we encountered a three toed sloth attempting to swim across. We stopped and picked her up and brought her to the other side.

I was just about to ask you if you were certain that you took her to the side of the river that she wanted to go to.
Someone told me that you left her in an area that was nothing but weeds…
Those are awesome! What a crazy little sloth.

Kim, I am not sure we did her any great service, I think she was headed towards the opposite side of the river. The river was very active that day, an alligator was found chomping on a 50 pound Tarpon earlier.
Check out an old post on another Sloth, that was found at the lodge.

The Displacement Act for Three Toed Sloths states that they must be brought to the Left Side of the River.
