The well-attended Mayor’s “I Love Gloucester Breakfast” at the Gloucester House this morning was followed by remarks and an informative Q and A. The overarching theme of the morning’s event was of working together to build Gloucester’ s future. It is always a pleasure to be around the Mayor because of the integrous manner in which she is managing the city’s business and because of her infectious love for Gloucester. Thank you Mayor Kirk for all you have done, and are continuing to do, to create a better Gloucester for all of us!

Great photos, Kim. Thank you.
GMG readers may not know that Kim’s husband Tom is a rock musician (see his band here: http://www.cdbaby.com/m/cd/atlanticsmusic) so besides being a gifted author, documentarian and photographer, the lovely Kim and talented Tom are kinda like Gloucester’s version of Paulina Porizkova and Ric Ocasek of the Cars.

I’ll pass this on to Tom–thank you John for the shout out and link to the Atlantic’s CD. I came on the scene after the Atlantics but love all the hits, especially Lonely Hearts–a true classic.
We were all friends, although I was closer to Suzanne, Ric’s wife. She and my best friends threw me a beautiful baby shower at the Ocasek’s lovely home in Brookline when I was pregnant with Liv–I’ll try to locate a photo.

Kim, I’m going to come right out and ask: do you have any photos of you and Tom with Ric Osasek you could share? I think it’d be fun to see one of the key Good Morning Gloucester contributors in a photo with one of the biggest rock stars of Joey’s youth.
