Homeward Bound

Homeward Bound

From Monday night’s snowstorm, Smiths Cove, Gloucester

Homeward bound,
I wish I was,
Homeward bound,
Home where my thought’s escaping,
Home where my music’s playing,
Home where my love lies waiting
Silently for me.   ~ Simon and Garfunkel

    1. Thank you Ann–lucky shot–I stopped at the cove on my way home from Boston and was only able to take the one photo because my camera was instantly soaked from the wet snow.

    1. Thanks DebNY. I was thinking about Virginia Frontiero’s Fish Tale post about her dad, and how any fisherman returning home from a day at sea in stormy weather must feel so thankful to arrive home safely.

  1. Kim, there is no such thing as a lucky shot. Your talented eye saw the shot and your other considerable artistic talents made it possible for the rest of us to enjoy it! Thank you!

  2. Homeward Bound…. root of the assigned moniker “HOBO”. Souls riding the rails, in search of an unknown destination. A place where a head can rest in the piece of night. Not a “bum”, but short term workers.
