Hi Charlie.
Your shots all have outstanding exposure. What mode(s) are you shooting, and how are you metering ?
thanks,

Kevin… I use a Canon 60D with the L Series Lenses and a Sony RX100. With the Canon, I usually have it in Program ( P ) Mode and Stop Up or Down as the conditions demand… on average I’m probably a half stop down most of the time… Shooting Birds in flight, I’m in manual all the time. I take a reading in P, from multiple directions at 1,000 Sec and then grab an average F and that’s my starting point… I adjust from there. For the most part I just take what the Sony gives me, although I stop up or down as required when in P Mode… I use the Sony as a walk around Back-up Camera. Post is Adobe Lightroom and or PS5. Thank you….I have the RX-100 as a back-up/walk around as well and when not in the mood for dragging around the heavy artillery. Amazing piece of engineering !

You’re getting some amazing birds in flight photos. I loved the seagull catching the piece of whatever in mid air, and the flocks of pigeons were amazing. Also some great wave photos, and the water condensation on the window shots were beautiful. As always, great work.
