Skating on Niles Pond is a Gloucester tradition and experience. I love the skating, hockey games, and cross country skiing when Niles is covered with snow. All this frequently happens all at the same time! I’ve skated and photographed there. Prefer the shooting, because my feet get cold when I skate. Thanks for the coverage Marty.

Been skating for the last 3 days Buzwells, Fernwood and yesterday the lily pond; fantastic, where today perhaps Niles always picking up litter too, please people bring your trash home, Carry In Carry Out
