About Marty Luster

I'm Marty Luster, a retired attorney and politician. In 2010 my wife, mother-in-law, dog and I relocated from Central NY to Gloucester. I hope my photographs and poetry(?) reflect my love for this place and her people. My picture-poem posts can be seen at http://matchedpairs.wordpress.com and selected black and white images can be found at http://slicesoflifeimages.wordpress.com

  1. So funny Marty, I just sent Joey a photo to post 1.5 hours ago. It is of the Boulevard in 1922, before the sea wall was built. If we knew, we could have combined the images. On the same astral plane? I’ll send it to you and maybe you can sneak it in…

  2. Joe T says:

Yes the sea as it shoals does not like to be restrained; man has done that for his purpoes. At sea when I see her full fury it remains me of how insignificant I am and respect and fear her but still challenge her ; it is human nature. But some days she doesn’t want to be restrained and the results are as we have seen in “Sandy” and many other examples. God will when our time comes we weather it better.
