Love the Gran Prix and the people who complain what is that about? The organizer fix the park and Stage Fort Park is a park and not just green grass, it is so beautiful to watch the race and will contact all councilors and the mayor, thank you for the heads up

I do not support the Grand Prix. Stage Fort Park is a treasure that is ruined from late fall until the following spring. Not only is the park off Limits during this Grand Prix, the mess that remains lingers and is a mud bowl for many months. I will also be contacting all councilors, and the mayor with my opinion. I cannot imagine another city or town in this area letting there park be destroyed in this manner.

It seems to me the park is thoughtfully restored a ton of people use yhe park during this time in the form of free entertainment. Many more local people are there spectating the event thsn would otherwise be yhrre. And if you don’t think it’s entertainment you simply haven’t watched.
The race organization also seems to actively seek to work to make sure the park is restored to pristine conditions.

We support the Gran Prix and we will contact our elected officials.
Let us not lose this civic treasure! If you have concerns about how the park is refurbished, that is one thing; if you don’t like the event and think it is not worth the city’s investment, that is another.
Many other communities would love to have a weekend of racing, complete with the business and tourist dollars that come with it. Keep the Gran Prix in Gloucester!
