Mitten Tree at Addison Gilbert Hospital
Access Services representative, Pam Elliott, donates items to the "Mitten Tree" at Addison Gilbert Hospital. Staff, employees and volunteers have added new
winter items of mittens, hats, pajamas, socks, blankets, etc., for infant, children and adults to the "Mitten Tree" located inside the Fisher Lobby of the hospital. These items will be donated to Action, Inc.
Friends who would like to donate are welcome to take part. The collection
will take place through the month of December.
The Gloucester Area Astronomy Club is having its Christmas party this Friday, December 14th, at the Lanesville Community Center at 8:00pm. We’ll have door prizes, a new video from NASA on Saturn and the Cassini spacecraft, followed by a presentation by our own Steve K on what’s up in the winter sky. And of course there will be plenty of Christmas goodies to eat and lots of good conversation. The public is always welcome; you don’t have to know anything about astronomy to have a great time. And as always there is no cost. See you there at 8:00!
