  • Hi JOEY, our second annual GMG Holiday Party will be held on Saturday, December 8th, at Fred’s Gallery, 82 Main Street, in the West End. If last year was any indication, it will be unbelievable. So much great food that there is no place to put it, cases of Sam Adams (courtesy of the Brew mistress Sally), Ryan & Wood’s spirits (courtesy of Bob and Mrs. Ryan), Sista Felicia’s delicacies, plus Kim Smith, Donna, and so much more from guests and restaurants that want to shine on this special night. Yikes, who else should I hit up for the best advertising they can get for the bare bones cost of some food? Eric (Passports)? Missy for Sugar Magnolia’s, Melissa of the Willow Rest, Alex (neighbor at Jalapeños)? Peter (Tratoria)? Laura & Eric (Cape Ann Olive Oil)? Daria and Mark’s Cafe Bischo? Laura from the Cave? And last year’s contributor of a huge plank of sushi, Mark McDunough from Lattitude 43 and Alchemy? We’ll see, but rest assured that there will be plenty to eat and drink at this event. I think it will, like last year’s bash, be the party to remember. For any other food establishments off the block, outside downtown, or even off the Island, this is the time to strut your stuff. Franklin, Ohana, Cape Ann Brewing Company, Seaport Grill, Espresso, Causeway Restaurant, Lobster Land, the Blue Marlin in Essex, an all our wonderful pizza establishments, like Maria’s. Even the Ritz in Boston and local caterers such as Classic Cooks. Oh, and don’t forget the Cape Ann Diner and the Bistro in Blackburn Industrial Park. If you doubt what I’m saying, consider this: When Joey C. posts this tomorrow, 50,000 + viewers will see your name. When the party happens, the food from you kitchens will also be highlighted. NO charge. Hope to see you!
