I just got back from the Rockport PTO Holiday Fair and found an email from Paul Frontiero wishing me a happy birthday. I wondered how he knew. Then I came on to check the blog and found this. You guys are all the most amazing people. I love Gloucester and think it is one of the most special places on earth, but if it wasn’t for GMG and all the dear friends and wonderful people I have met here through GMG, I dare say it wouldn’t be quite so special. I love you all and am so proud and honored to know you and be a part of the GMG family. Joey, you are just a rock – a true hedgepiggywig among men. : )

Hedgepiggywigs are very intelligent, charming, cute, sweet, community minded characters in my book Tales of Bong Tree Island, and Hedgepiggywig Joey is the leader of them. Just as Hedgepiggywig Joey is the leader among hedgepiggywigs on Bong Tree Island, our Joey is a leader among men on Cape Ann.
