  1. Where are you from? What brought you here? Are you Published? Do you teach photography? What camera (s) do you use? Are you in any galleries? Welcome and good luck! You are off to a great start. And, by the way, you will never run out of subject matter on Cape Ann.

    1. Thanks Linda. As with so many beautiful spots on Cape Ann, you could shoot them a million times, and each shot would be different. I have taken hundreds of photos of Annisquam Light from different perspectives, at different times of year, day and weather, and it is always unique and special.

  2. Awesome shot, EJ…. the lighting is perfect, the composition spot on… and also one of my favorite (and oft painted) spots! I need to get down there one more time before the snow flies (and my hip gets replaced!)

    1. Eileen, you’d better stockpile a boatload of good photos to work from while you recover. Best wishes on your surgery and for a speedy recovery, so you can be dancing on Rocky Neck next summer.

  3. I agree. Such a beautiful shot, EJ. I’ve already shared this on Facebook so others will see one of the many reasons we love living here on Cape Ann! Thank you for sharing!

  4. That scene is very dear to my heart…for I have walked there at low tide for well over half a century! The curve of the beach, the angle of the lighthouse, the light itself… you captured it all.
“Anonymous” – she’s already a professional, whose eyes and camera is sharp, and who paints Cape Ann scenes just as well. Especially nice without the quite new, shiny, aluminum walkway with float which honestly mars the scene in the summer :+)
Thanks, EJ! – Cynthia Kennedy Sam
