A quick reminder…

Election Day is Tuesday

No matter whom you support, it’s important to excercise your right to vote!

On Tuesday, we’ll be electing state and federal officers to represent us in Boston and Washington. In addition, you will be asked to express your opinion on six ballot questions covering such issues and legalizing medical use of marijuana, allowing doctors to prescribe medication to allow a person with a fatal disease to take his or her own life and whether or not to overturn the so-called "Citizens United" decision of the Supreme Court that allows corporations and unions to spend without limits in elections.
Vote Logo   This is our most precious right, one that many have paid the ultimate price to preserve. Honor them and honor our country by making time to vote on Tuesday Nov. 6. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Polling places for Ward 1 are:
Ward 1, Precinct 1: East Gloucester School,9 Davis Street Extension.
Ward 1, Precinct 2: Veterans Memorial School, 11 Webster St
If you are unsure which precinct you are in, click here to see a map showing the boundaries for all the city’s five wards and 10 precincts.
In addition, below are two links to files showing the front and back of the ballot that will be used in the city, including the six ballot questions.
