Enjoying my vacation in Paris. It’s almost as beautiful as Gloucester!

About Matthew Green

I am an origami artist and photographer (and teacher of both), a blogger, a freelance translator, former philosophy professor, and I love to sing. You can see my photos on Flickr and buy prints of some of them on Fine Art America. You can find me on Instagram, Twitter (@mehjg), and in various and sundry other social media sites on the web.

  1. great pictures and hope you have a great time

  2. I’m a big fan of gargoyles. There’re all over France, and perhaps the most famous ones are atop Notre Dame: “If only I were made of stone, like thee.” Charles Laughton in The Hunchback of Notre Dame, 1939 (one of the most memorable moments in film). Future post on gargoyles?

  3. charlene carrier says:

    I think I chose the wrong vocation…can’t afford a trip like that..Cc

  4. I have gotten a few gargoyle shots, which (if they came out well enough) I can share later. Charlene, I am blessed to be doing this vacation the cheap way: someone bought my ticket with his extra “rewards” miles, and I am staying at a parish where a former classmate of mine is the pastor…
