Caught a glimpse of the wind tower heading to the dock this a.m. at sunrise.
This picture looks like the Lunar Module, someone told me that the blades are protected in there, not sure but like the look of it.
Very exciting day at CruisePort.

Mayor Kirk speaks with Baldwin Crane CEO Mark Baldwin and Varian Director of Facilities Rick Johnson. Mark Baldwin has some nice things to say about Sheree Delornezo, owner and operator of Cruiseport, Gloucester.
Does the offloading of giant turbines from barges, pumping of herring, tying up of fishing boats, offloading cruiseships, loading of welding supplies for the LNG terminal in front of an outdoor dining facility put to rest the notion that marine industrial activity and non-marine industrial activity can’t co-exist?
Herring Offloading At Cruiseport
American Glory Cruise Ship at Cruiseport
Here’s the cruise ship that pulled into port Tuesday. It looked kinda old by today’s cruise ship standards, but well maintained (at least from the outside).

Special Guest: ELAINE O’ROURKE!
2010! This week she finally returns to us with her gentle
voice, uniquely original rhythmic guitar strumming… plus, a
newly released CD (I played on a couple cuts myself) titled,
“Silence of Time”! The disc, you’ll soon come to know, is a
true-to-life snapshot of this extremely creative artist’s mind
and spirit. Let’s not miss this event. Who knows how long
we might be left waiting for the next visit? She’s kinda like
a comet! ~ Fly

Angela Cook from www.oasisrockport.com sends in these pics from the 2012 Rockport Harvest Fest-
This is the full length video of the Felix Baumgartner free fall. I hated the ones that clipped him off as he disappeared straight down.
20 seconds: door pops open as the pressure equalizes.
1:20 “I’m coming home” and a bunny hop. If you sit right on 1:20 and keep replaying this and pretend he is just getting smaller and not falling. Weird, huh? I used to jump out of airplanes and that bunny hop off the wheel strut was always a rush but Felix is cool as a cucumber.
2:20 hitting the speed of sound (768mph) he is spinning like a crazy top with end over end thrown in. Don’t repeat this part unless you want to toss your cookies.
9:30 Drops to knees, two fists up after falling 128,000 feet, 24.24 miles or from Gloucester Harbor to Fenway Park. (Which took 8 minutes total, no waiting in the hotdog line.)
Actually, it only took him 4 minutes to get to Kenmore Square, then 4 more minutes to float into Fenway Park. Traffic always sucks in Kenmore.
