You are totally crazy!! How bad do your eyes look?
Love the fairs. We just spent a whole day at the Deerfield fair with some very special NH Friends, Dale and Sue. I’m guessing it’s the Topsfield Fair. The smells, sites are AWESOME!
A smelly goat comparison to a steamed clam? Glad Joey doesn’t have you on restaurant reviews … 😉
I used to go to Topsfield first day first hour so I could see my brother’s pumpkin in the Weigh In. Each year he was maybe 200 pounds behind the top pumpkin. Gave up after not cracking the top twenty with a 600 pounder. Now, the pumpkins are north of a thousand pounds. The people who do this are really not insane. It’s just a way to hangout and drink beer and measure each other’s large vegetables. OK, it’s weird.
What I learned: do not order a deep fried corn dog in the first hours of a fair. Fryalators aren’t hot enough. I still have heartburn.

They look like steamers.. I love the smells, the pumpkin was huge and wonder what they are going to do with, it is a compost pile in itself
