Tired Girlfriends asks-
My boyfriend is very affectionate in the evening, and wakes up every few hours with certain needs. Now, on one hand he is very loving and always satisfies my needs too, but on the other I end up being very tired at work the next day. How can I tell him that just once in while I want to actually sleep for more than 3 hours at a time?
Alrighty then Tired Girlfriend. What you’ve got here is a gift horse.
“Don’t look a gift horse in the mouth”
Don’t be ungrateful when you receive a gift.
You’ve got yourself a horny boyfriend that adores you. He is loving, he isn’t just hammering away at you and then rolling over as you pointed out, he is taking care of your needs as well.
I get that you might be a little sleep deprived but as he is your boyfriend I’m assuming you’ve been together for a couple years or less. You are still in the honeymoon phase. Be thankful for getting that loving attention as there are many folks out there that get married and their sex life trails off considerably.
My guess is that after a little while the nookie or the occasional nudge in the culo will subside to the frequency that may afford you a bit more sleep but in the meantime I suggest you revel in the intimacy.
There are many out there that would love to have such sleep deprivation problems.
Joey you are the best!!! Thank you for teaching me how to live blog!
That the white chimneys with black rings or bands on many of the oldest houses are indicative of homes that supported the British? This was called a Tory chimney, and it was a secret sign that Loyalists occupied the house.
Loyalists were North American colonists who remained loyal subjects of the British crown during the American Revolutionary War. They were often referred to as Tories, Royalists or King’s Men. After the war those Loyalists that did not want to remain in the new USA settled in what would become Canada and were given the hereditary title of United Empire Loyalists. Their colonial opponents, who supported the Revolution, were called Rebels, Patriots or Whigs, but generally just thought of themselves as free Americans. From the Patriot’s perspective, the Loyalists were traitors who would not support the rebel’s cause and collaborated with what they thought was an oppressive British government. Whereas from the Loyalist perspective, they were the honorable ones who stood by the Empire and the Crown and considered the American rebels as the traitors to the mother country.
Today you still see white chimneys with black rings, but it is probably more for the aesthetics than any secret sign.
The tip for this post came from Allen Estes who I ran into working on this old home in Annisquam. In addition to his music knowledge, he is a wealth of those great little known facts I (and you) enjoy so much.
View from my bedroom window this morning
The iPhone 4S camera is not bad! I love that it captures color fairly accurately.
You’ve seen lots of behind the scenes video and interviews (click here if you missed them).
Now here’s what so many of you have been asking for — Brad Byrd‘s complete song Zero to the 101 performed at Minglewood on St. Pat’s afternoon while gimmesound Artist of the Week Brandon Rose and his crew get crowd shots.
Lots of choices for great music tonight starting at 7pm: Dance party, fundraisers, old faves and new faces. See the full music lineup here.
Today on March 23 the seawater temperature is a balmy 48F and not the nippy 42F from a year ago. Summer is here and with it the openings of restaurants on Cape Ann.
Saturday, March 31, Top Dog of Rockport opens. A clam roll at a picnic table outside. That is my official start of the season. Might be chilly so go for a Hot Chihuahua Dog with Chili Cheese Fries.
Thursday, April 12, Lobsta Land Restaurant opens. Just say “Lobsta Land!” out loud three times. I feel better already. Check out the Lobsta Countdown on their website.
Thursday, April 12, Captain Carlo’s opens.
Thursday, April 19 The Rudder opens. The way the weather is going the new heaters on the deck won’t be needed.
Note to Restauratuers of Cape Ann: Do you want patrons when you open your doors this season? Then update your web page!! Update your facebook page!! I got these dates from updated pages. Too many places still had, “We’re closing this week for the winter, come back in the spring.” Not good. Update and make a comment on this post and I will add your restaurant.
