Harold Burnham with Steve and Bruce are towing rough-cut logs back to Harold’s Essex Shipbuilding yard to be made into spars and gaffs for the Schooner ‘Adventure’. Harold and crew had cut and trimmed trees down last week on Hog island for the project.

  1. Joanne from Schooner Adventure says the masts are going to be hauled Wednesday Feb 29, beginning 8AM. at the Gloucester Marine Railways (should check with them to see if they are still on schedule).

  2. Mayer Tree Service will have it’s REALLY big crane out over the Schooner Adventure at 8:00 A.M. tomorrow morning, Wednesday the 29th, to pull the masts out of the Schooner Adventure, and up over an adjoining vessel and then onto the ground for evaluation. It promises to be an amazing sight! Come check it out!
