  1. OK people…… Listen to me….ABSOUTLY OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!! I knew my brother was right the second I stepped into the resturant… the aroma in the air alone made my mouth water… I couldn’t wait to taste something. The staff is friendly, the place is “spotless clean” the portions are very generous, food is super delicious, they use fresh produce…(like crisp bright green Cilantro) & a Free Mexican soda is included with you meal… Seroiusly how can you beat that? I highly recomend the non-alcholic Sangria soda… YUM ! Get your Butt down their….. and Welcome them to Gloucester…

  2. MY Son just picked up a ground beef burrito for me and a steak one for him. “AWESOME”.
The things must weigh about a pound and a half each.

  3. I can’t wait for my first taste!!! I’m a HUGE fan of the Lynn location. At least the proposed commuter rail cutbacks won’t keep me hungry. Quiero Taco Lupita!

        1. What do you know about my experience with cow tongue? For your information, my first serious girlfriend was Jewish and introduced me to cow tongue. So there!

    1. I’ve eaten there twice and found it to be not good, but outstanding. And on top of it being outstanding it was very reasonably priced. I fed myself, daughters and sister’s family for $24 and everyone raved about how good it was. Your review smacked of being a competitor’s anonymous bashing. If I’m wrong then I’m wrong but it was so far off base that I decided to dismiss it.

      1. You are wrong. My food was as originally described. Feel free to check the menu prices of what I ordered. As for anonymous…you have my name and e-mail address.

        1. OK I believe you. Feel free to repost it and As long as its not slanderous I’ll approve it. I completely disagree with your assessment but I’ll post it for you.

  5. Disagree as you wish. Had you been served what we were served, you would have posted an entirely different review. I was there Monday night. I ordered the steak burrito, the steak taco combo, and some cheese enchiladas. The steak ruined the meal. Both in the tacos and the burrito, the meat was so full of gristle it was literally inedible. The only thing we did eat were the cheese enchiladas and part of the sides. Those three items were $18 and change. Despite it being take-out only, I tossed the change from my twenty into the jar expecting much better results. Very disappointing. We won’t be back.

  6. I have been hoping for a place like this to open in Gloucester for a while now. A real Mexican place (no offense to Jalepenos but the very idea of “high-end” Mexican food is so backwards to me). I had very high expectations going in, and while they were not met they also were not completely missed either. We ordered steak nachos, a combo Taco plate with Pork, Chicken, and Steak, as well as the combination plate of Pork Chicken and Steak. I believe this was the second day they were open. The Steak was satisfactory, the Chicken was good, and the Pork was outstanding. And I mean really really outstanding. I am hoping for good things in the future from here as well, being that we went on the second night of service I am sure the kinks were not all worked out and the place was busy as could be. Overall I would give Tacos Lupita a B+ from my first experience, it is priced just right and everything is good, except for the pork which is next level delicious. I did not try the cow tongue yet but definitely will next time. As for saying the Steak is no good, this is Authentic Mexican food, people in Mexico are not chowing down on Filet Mignon every night and if you want to judge a Mexican restaurant by its steak perhaps Mexican food isn’t right for you.
