Poor guys…indeed headed for the hot spot, the bubbling cauldron of double trouble…evolution inevitable–the consumer and the consumed, an ancient story transcended by? Who knows the menus of antediluvian days?

That is a good question. I’d forgotten about those pegs!

When I was little I remember my mother bringing home some lobsters, getting the pot of water to a rolling boil, picking up the first lobster with long tongs and dipping it in slowly, tail first, to “get it used to the water”!!!!!
Needless to say, she only did that once.
