Lone Gull goes to Nepal Albert Symes Represents One Of Gloucester’s Finest Coffee Shops

One is the Mount Everest base camp  and the other is taken from Kalapattherar with Mount t Everest in the back ground

  • I gotta get out more :)….

  • Al Symes, aka “TOG” (tough old goat) was able to go over the Cho La Pass (5330m/17,440′) and make it to Everest Base Camp. My lungs aren’t as good and I couldn’t breath so I had to “go around”, 4 days in the other direction. We had a great trip. Anybody looking to trek in Nepal, give me a holler. I’ve been there twice now, know my way around a bit and am happy to help.

  • say – I believe this beats out Doug Brendel and myself for furthest FOB traveler?
