We thought Good Morning Gloucester crowd would be interested in the new Blue Shutters BeachCam, which this weekend began broadcasting live video of Good Harbor Beach and of guests of the Blue Shutters strolling across the way to the footbridge. The camera is right in the Main Room of the Blue Shutters, by the big windows overlooking the beach. While you can’t make out every bathing suit and boogie board, you’ll be able to tell if it’s a good day for sunbathing, beachwalking or surfing…or just watching the weather and the waves. We’ll soon have this as a direct link on our website, but for now folks can visit our site’s “What’s New” blog to access the BeachCam. http://www.blueshuttersbeachblog.blogspot.com/
FYI – we have GMG to thank for this…you featured the Fiesta webcam back in June and that got us thinking that a Good Harbor BeachCam would be a good addition. We hope others agree – check it out and let us know what you think.

I’ve been inside the Blue Shutters Inn and the owners Tony, Patty, Ed and Annmarie have done a great job with the place. It’s beautiful inside and you can’t beat the view, as this Good Harbor BeachCam proves. Love this idea.

I’m jealous. I use an iPad and cannot access the Dropcam. Flash issues. I have installed Dropcam’s app for apple, nothing. Any suggestions other than going to my small-screen Droid? Missed all the Fiesta camera views 😦
