As Sharon said, it’s Buswell Pond off of Western Ave, kind of between Stage Fort Park and Magnolia. The photo was taken just after sunrise this morning (could not sleep last night!) and the fog rising did look mysterious and heavenly.
What a lovely photo. Symbolic theme of leaving one reality (say the past) and entering a less stressful, calmer reality (say the future). Uplifting and happy. Good job.
Love the blog! As an expat (North Carolina), the daily contact keeps me in touch with my roots. We used to skate on Buswell’s pond whenever possible; donated many puck and my brother’s tooth near this arch.
That is lovely.

A wonderful, etherial moment in time! Where is this portico that so nicely frames the view?

The new owners of the bird’s eye property could use that entry way for their new property. How elegant would that be?

That’s a stunning photo! Nice to see a pond picture in the midst of the ocean photography. It’s all good!
