For/From Indie Authors: Daniel Arenson

  • Thanks for posting this, Joe. This is turning into a great series! I have 30 authors — all of them indies — who are going to offer their tips and tricks. Most of them are publishing in both paperback and e-books but some just do e. Some of these people are selling 100 books or more a week! I just read about an indie author of thrillers (J.A. Konrath) who had $40K in book sales in January.

According to Amazon, I sold 42 books in the past month just on Kindle. The e-revolution is upon us!

  • I love this series and have it bookmarked. I know when I hit the motherlode when the first recommendation is “Avoid pleonasms!” Too many words. I am re-reading my Strunk and White and the take home message from William Strunk is to say stuff in few words. OK. The end.
