A special evening for women shoppers, including refreshments and drawings for gift certificates in many stores.
ESSEX HOLIDAY FESTIVAL
Three days of holiday fun: Thursday: Memory Tree Lighting (6:30 p.m.); Friday: Toy Land Parade (5:30 p.m.), a Tree Lighting at Town Hall (6 p.m.); and Saturday: Breakfast with Santa (8:30 a.m. – 11 a.m.), and Eat, Shop & Be Merry In Essex.
SANTA’S ARRIVAL BY BOAT & TREE LIGHTING, ROCKPORT
Santa arrives by boat at Tuna Wharf, 3:45 p.m., followed by tree lighting ceremony in Dock Square, 4 p.m.
CHRISTMAS BY THE SEA, MANCHESTER — CORRECTED
Open House in stores, hayrides, caroling, pancake breakfast. Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sunday 12 noon to 5 p.m. Santa arrives by boat on Sunday at noon, followed by the Jingle Bell Walk, and the Friendship tree lighting at 3:30 p.m.
MEN’S NIGHT, GLOUCESTER
A shopping evening designed with a man’s shopping needs in mind. Refreshments and drawings for gift certificates in many stores.
MIDDLE STREET WALK, GLOUCESTER
Middle Street and Pleasant Street, 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. Open houses and special events will take place along these historic streets
